Happy Thanksgiving!

Being an elementary school teacher, at this time of year, I would likely be having the students complete some kind of project on what it means to be thankful and some of the things they are thankful for.... hoping for more than "I am thankful for my Playstation".  So I think it is only fitting that I complete that task as well.

5 Things I am Thankful for About Carson:

1. His gigantic toothless (although not for long since two teeth are working their way up) smiles that he shares with me all day long.

2. That he looks like me so I can take credit for at least one of my boys!!

3. That he has at least one huge giggle fit everyday that makes me laugh too.

4. That he (usually) falls asleep fairly easily snuggled into my neck, and sometimes stays asleep when I put him down.

5. That he squeals in total delight when he is jumping...  I could watch for hours.

5 Things I am Thankful for About William:

1.  That he has a growing vocabulary and now we can have actual conversations.

2.  That he sings to me at night when he is going to bed.

3. His beautiful smile that can light up any room.

4. That he is so loving and caring.

5. That he is growing into such an amazing young boy that I could not be more proud of.

I am not sure how this started, but he often feels the need to put on his sunglasses and the oven mitts and wander around the house.  He probably keeps doing it because it makes mommy laugh!

My Halloween Chicken... I never thought I would get him into this costume, and now he wears it several times everyday!  Cutest chicken EVER!

There are so many things to be thankful for in my life, that I could write quite a long list... but mostly for my wonderful family and friends, for my health, and of course most of all for my two amazing boys.  I could not have asked for anything more in my life and I am so fortunate.

Wil is such a good big brother and he loves to make Carson laugh... I wish I could add sound to the photo, both boys are laughing and having a great time... I got all teary eyed!

My new haircut.... that I am also thankful for since it has been 5 months since the last one!
