Carson has officially graduated to a booster seat
(doesn't he look proud of himself in his big boy chair)
Wil having one last sit in the high chair
(it was a bit emotional for me to say good bye to the high chair. It was a gift from My Uncle Daniel and his family when Wil was first born. It has been with us for 3 years, through 2 kids starting solids, learning to eat "real" food, learning to feed themselves, it has been the centerpiece of many, many pictures, and such a big part of these young lives. It is also a bit like saying good bye to the "baby" years. Bittersweet. Thank you high chair, you have been great and we will miss you. Hopefully you create just as many memories in your new home!)
Carson's new favourite food - Mini Wheats and Milk
(well any cereal and milk actually, I think he would eat it for every meal. He also does amazingly well with his spoon!)
"Mom, just let me eat my cereal"
My Beautiful boys having a bedtime cuddle.
We made "Puffins"
(Pancake Muffins - Thank you Pinterest!)
We did lots of skating
(Carson only lasts a little while on the ice, but loves to run around in his helmet.)
We got to play with Charlotte while waiting for her baby brother
(A bit of quiet time before their nap - this picture cracks me up. I came down from putting Carson to bed and saw this... I think they might be related, exact same position, right down to the finger in the mouth!!)
After nap, still waiting, so we made funny faces
Still waiting, so we painted pictures
(also had a dance party while painting... good thing Chad wasn't home, the threat of a mess would have given him a heart attack!)
More waiting - making necklaces
Wil was SO focussed and sat here doing this for a REALLY long time... I was amazed.
FINALLY!
(Charlotte went home that night because Baby wasn't ready and Gramma arrived from Weyburn. Then we all had to wait another full day, but he finally made it! Welcome to the world baby Clay Liam! We are glad you finally came out and can't wait to meet you! Such a cutie already!)
Wow. I am impressed with your variety of toddler activities! I know who to ask for ideas!
ReplyDeleteWow! What a fun day waiting for the baby!! maybe we should send Ryder to stay with you when it is his turn to wait for his baby brother or sister....let's talk in April. :)
