We had our last day of preschool
(What!??!!? Where did that year go!?!?)
Wil is going through a bit of a dress-myself-legwarmer-phase, which is handy in Calgary where it is cool in the mornings and hot later because he can just pull them off
(makes for some great outfits!)
Carson is, of course, also going through a legwarmer phase
(anything Wilya does, Carson MUST do too!)
Helping mommy bake cupcakes
We have had LOTS of driveway picnics
(mosquitos are too bad in the backyard, so we picnic here)
Yay! Swimming in the lake!!
Carson found mud.... he was so happy!
These kids love water!
After a hot morning at Heritage Park
"we don't care if you were out late partying Daddy, get off the couch it is Calaway Park day!!"
Daddy was a trooper, went on lots of rides with the boys
(I think he enjoyed it just as much as they did, he was doing lots of big laughing!)
Swings!
Driving trucks
Dune Buggies
(It was great that there were so many rides that they boys could go on alone, as well as ones that Carson could still go on with an adult too)
Our first sno cones!
Wil is in the gold bumper car... it was really funny, he mostly drove in a circle and bumped the walls!
(this was one ride Carson was just a bit too small to go on, and it was at the end of our day, and there was a HUGE meltdown. He still gets sad if you talk about the bumper cars.)
Great day at Calaway and a new best friend that Daddy helped him win!
This is what 5 hours in an amusement park on a hot day does to a two year old! This was about 3.8 seconds after we pulled out of the parking lot... he was out cold!
Carson and Daddy exhausted
Another exciting phase of our summer adventures starts this week as well.... off to Toronto on Wednesday for three weeks of fun. Yay!
