At 9 months Carson:
- is a very active little man, he can sit, crawl, pull himself to standing and cruise the furniture
- laughs and smiles all the time
- loves to follow his brother around and watch everything he does
- babbles and "dadadadadadas" a lot, but not really just at Daddy, so we aren't too sure if he means it yet!
- still is not sleeping through the night, but is usually down to one visit with mommy
- plays with toys and can sit happily for a while and try to figure things out
- enjoys water and has so much fun in the bath and at swimming lessons
- is eating a wide variety of foods and really just wants to eat whatever we are, his favourites are puffed wheat and mum mums, yogurt, prunes and anything with cinnamon in it!
- likes to ride in shopping carts, his big boy car seat and in the stroller without his bucket
- is a social butterfly and loves other babies and kids
Coolest 9 month old there is!
(He has a constant "bib" of drool with all the teeth that keep coming in!)
"Hi Mom, I am 9 months old today!"
Getting started on the potty early since his brother seems in no real rush to use it!!

Wow. 9 months didn't sound so old until you pointed out the fact that it's only 3 months away from being a year! Wow. Time seriously picks up pace when kids are in the picture. It's exciting but sad at the same time. So much to look forward to and enjoy in the moment (Carson looks like he might become as much of a ham as his brother) but always a little hard to look back on how little they once were. Will this always be the case? A mother's plight???
ReplyDeleteWe have tried prunes as well and while they're a hit...they're also very successful at what they are famous for (major diaper blow outs after only a few spoonfuls...we have to be very cautious in how much we give Simon). Do you have that issue as well???
