Well it is officially official, we are the proud owners (and have the keys to prove it) of our new house in McKenzie Lake! We got our keys Friday at noon and have been very busy ever since getting it ready for us to move in. This weekend was a cleaning (although it needed very little, it was left in great condition), painting and moving smaller stuff weekend. We had lots of help from our parents, and have made excellent progress. It is starting to come together and feel more like a home and so far we love it. Wil is really enjoying all the space (especially since there is not a lot of furniture there yet) and he has been running laps and playing hide and seek with so many new spaces, and helping build shelves and beds and unpack boxes. Carson was kind of sick this weekend with a bit of a flu, but he hung in there and even had his first nap at the new house, which he went down for without one single complaint and slept for almost 2 hours through all the commotion outside the bedroom door!

(I honestly don't know why we buy toys, this box kept him entertained all day. He packed himself in, he got carried around and unpacked, and Grandpa R gave him some super fun rides all around the living room!)
Next weekend we move all our furniture and ourselves, so it will be busy but I will have some more photos of our house all set up!
