More Winter Fun!

Thank goodness we took advantage of the "warmer" weather earlier in the week and had some fun outside as it got a lot colder by the end of the week.  This weekend was too cold to try to bundle up and go outside.  (Yes, I know I am Canadian and we can brave any kind of weather, but I just wasn't ready yet).

Finding things to do to keep us busy inside

Wil has been enjoying activity books, and getting pretty good at writing letters and numbers

Always fun to wrestle with Daddy!

Some extra "getting ready for Santa" pictures from my camera
(I love that you can see Wil jumping in the background... clearly he was excited!)

REALLY excited!

Skating is open at the Lake!!
(It is awesome... every tree has lights (thousands of them), the Zamboni flooded the rink right before we skated and the fire pit is toasty warm.  A beautiful place to skate and tire the boys out after supper!  Wil is also skating without his red pusher thing now, he is doing amazing!)

Carson warming up by the fire

Wil warming up too!

Daddy and his little skaters!!
(Chad has been waiting and waiting for them to be old enough to skate, and is enjoying taking them out on the ice!)

Wil drew me a picture!
(I was so proud of him... he was all by himself drawing and then called me over to see what he had done!)

Santa's Little Helper!

  1. Sooo much fun!! Sometimes the cold is just overwhelming and it's easier to stay inside...if we can think of things to do,eh? Yesterday, I brought bowls of snow and the sand shovels INSIDE! WE played in the snow where it was warm! :)
