This week started out as a normal week, but Tuesday Gramma and Grampa D arrived from Toronto. We have been busy, lots of playing, skating, dancing, and Christmas fun. Then we got double the fun when Grandma and Grandpa R came from Red Deer this weekend with Uncle Kim. More playing, dancing and Christmas fun! Throw in a fun family Brunch with more cousins and nieces and nephews and we are getting into the holiday spirit!
Here are some photos from the week!
Carson locked himself in the pantry...
Knock, knock, is anybody there?!?!?!
Decorating the Felt Tree Gramma Toronto made for the boys!
Decorating the "real" tree
(Wil was very careful and gentle with the tree)
Carson up on the ladder
(Carson was a turbo speed decorator... run to the ornaments, run to the tree, try to put it on a branch, then throw it into the tree when it doesn't stay, then run back to the ornaments to get another.)
Wil helping to read the directions for our gingerbread train
Decorating time!
Gingerbread cake!
(Take that pinterest! I made this all by myself and didn't even need to pin a picture of it ahead of time for the idea... my own little brain came up with it!)
Fancy dinner in the dining room
(Nothing says nice family meal like chewing on a hot dog and drinking a yogurt drink!)
First family meal in our dining room!
(So nice to have both sets of Grandparents together)
Great Uncle Chad with baby Clay!
(What a cutie!)

Wil made up a new game called "Snowmans melting to the ground". You have to get in a circle and hold hands, then dance around and I had to call out which snowman had to melt to the ground!
(Love his creativity and imagination, such a fun age!)
Melting!
1. LOVE the felt tree. Definitely want to do that one day (next year?)
ReplyDelete2. I noticed your sweater and side braid...looking very nice.
3. "Take that Pinterest" - Ha! That made me laugh!!! You showed them! (and just for that, I'm going to pin it!!!)
So fun to have all the grandparents together!!!
