This was all in one week!!

Today was a bit of a sad day as it was the end of my parents visit.  I know that I am fortunate that I get to see them for long periods of time when we do visit, but for me it is just never long enough.  I miss them already and miss them all the time when they are not around.  Because we only see each other a few times a year, we pack A LOT of excitement into short periods of time, I think they will need a rest to recover from this "vacation"!!  We ran errands, we played, we went to Zoo lights, swimming, skating, skating and more skating, out for meals, painted gingerbread, had a "Special Saturday Christmas", introduced Wil to the Wii, played some more, danced, shopped, and got spoiled by Gramma and Grampa.  Chad and I even mananged to get out of the house twice for "dates"!  Here are some (tons) of photos of the adventures.

Zoo Lights!
(It was my first time as well as the kids, it was so great!  Leave it to Wil to find the "Oh Canada" flag right away!)

So hard to get a picture, he was too excited to pose!

Carson too.... very excited about the ice sculptures!
(he looks so cute in his little hat)

The not so fast slide

Decorating
(about halfway through he discovered eating the icing right off the brush... his face got more and more blue!)

Trying to keep control of the sprinkles

Wil's hair has been in fine form for the past week or so... there is nothing that will tame it!

Best buddies

Special Saturday Christmas gifts!

Opening some presents
(Carson has learned how to say "wow" and he said it a lot!!)

New car mat
(awesome)

Got all dressed up for a fancy party

Skating on the lake
(I think the rougher ice was easier for Carson and he did great all on his own!)

Grampa taking the wee hockey player for a ride
(Carson loved being pulled around the lake in the sled and if he wouldn't have gone airborn when Grampa hit a rut, he might have fallen asleep)

He shoots, He scores!!

Smallest little Hockey Star!

Enjoying the lake path

"Christmas" dinner

Enjoying his cracker crown and prizes

They got to open gifts from Auntie Barb too... awesome aprons!
(Thanks Auntie Barb)

Merry Christmas
(Thanks for a great visit Mom and Dad, and for everything you do.  Can't wait until next time!)

For Gramma Toronto's math geek side.... Wil writing the numbers 1-22!
