I went to visit my "clinic" family (what's left of them) at the Fitness Institute
(this is where I worked for almost 5 years before I left Toronto. We were a close knit little family and even after being away for more years than I worked there, I still make a point to go visit and it always seems like no time has passed. Thanks Vee and Farhan for the fun visit!)
On our way to the African Lion Safari... couldn't handle the excitement!!
On the Safari bus ready for animals!
Chatting with Grampa about the animals
This ostrich played at our window for a while... apparently they are not very smart and they see their reflection in the window and think it is another ostrich, so they peck at them! Pretty funny.
Riding the wilderness train
Petting some super cute baby goats!
We rode elephants!!! So exciting!
(The African Lion Safari was great, we would definitely go back again, and bring our bathing suits because they also had a HUGE water park area)
Fancy outfits!
(Carson in Grampa's shorts and Wil in his new green jeans and shirt he picked himself!)
We went to another farm - Whittamore's Berry Farm
(we love our farms!)
Two boys that love tractors!
Cool playground tractor
Hanging out in the ladybug!
Grasshopper riding!
Running (despite the heat) through the berry maze!
Bouncy house!
bounced out!
Tire horse
Climbing big tires
Carson's turn
Horse tire swings
Ya Hoo!
Another picture with the Berry tractor
The Chicken show
Can't get enough farm fresh corn on the cob!
For our last night we went out to the Mandarin Buffet for dinner
both boys loved the buffet, and really liked being able to pick their own food, Carson also loved the chopsticks, and managed to get food into his mouth too!
Grampa and his boys
Awwwww... cuddles.
(brings tears to my eyes)
Carson and Gramma
At the airport
(I think the boys look so cute with their little backpacks and lunch boxes for the plane)
Ready to check our luggage
Bye Bye Toronto
(Wil and mommy had a pretty hard time here and there might have been some crying involved by both of us)
Vacationing is exhausting!
Our first sleep back in our own beds!
I had to wake both boys up the first morning home, they slept until after 9am!!
A few things:
ReplyDelete1. You have crammed a lot into this summer. I'm slightly envious...sitting here with no energy. Your boys are so very lucky to have you as their mom!
2. LOVE the African Lion Safari!!!
3. STACIE - YOU ARE SO SKINNY!!!! Way to go my friend!!! All that work is paying off! Yay!
