This is one week I am happy to see end! It was a tough one for all of us. In addition to the FREEZING cold temperatures (which are normal for Calgary, but we had been spoiled by nicer weather for so long I just wasn't ready for it), we also had one really sick little boy. We spent a lot of days hanging around the house in our jammies and cuddling on the couch playing iPad, reading books and watching TV. I also had to face my biggest fear as a parent, the thing I had been dreading since having kids... cleaning up barf in a bed. Poor Wil would cough so hard that he would throw up in bed and on himself. It was really upsetting to him and while I didn't enjoy cleaning it up (3 times), the fact that I was so concerned about him and was trying to keep him comfortable, made it something I just did and it wasn't as bad as I thought... not that I look forward to doing it again! We got an arsenal of medications from our Doctor (which Wil is taking like a trooper) and that seems to be helping and I think we are on the mend, thank goodness.
The week wasn't all "bad"... we did have some highlights. Carson got another tooth (that makes 6), he is becoming a very fast crawler (whenever I turn around and can't find him I can always follow the trail of drool on the floor to locate him), Wil has learned some new songs and is "reading" some new books, we put new carseats in now that Carson is too big for his bucket (and Wil is excited about his because it has cup holders!) and Carson figured out how to climb up stairs!
Here are the pictures from the week...

Our poor, sick little man
(heartbreaking)
Just made me want to cry, I felt so sad for him, he was so not himself.
Learning how to put peanut butter on his own bun
(with a kid sized, very blunt butter knife)
Starting to get crazy bed head hair now that it is getting long!
The Temperature in my car the one day we did manage to go out and play with Auntie Shannon, Charlotte and Grandma R.
(did not include windchill!)
