Where does the time go?

Another busy week in the Ramsay house!  Despite the fact that it is only January, we have been looking at preschools for Wil for September!  First of all, I can't believe that he will be old enough later this year to start school (where does the time go???), and I also can't believe that we have to choose one and register this early!  We toured a lot of them, and each time Wil happily went in, took off his boots and coat and explored and played with all the stuff in the classrooms.  He talked to the teachers and in the ones we visited that had classes going on, he very comfortably joined the other kids in their activities.  We did find one we really liked and the day we went to register he kept trying to stay and join the class, saying, "mommy, I am three, I can stay at school.  Mommy, I three now, I go to school." So I hope that by September he will be as excited to go!  (It will be me probably that has the hard time the first day!)  I am happy and relieved that we found a good one and we got our spot, and that I don't have to go and see anymore!!

In addition to the excitment of preschools, we had some fun playdates.  We got to meet a friends' new baby boy one day, and got to play with Carson's little buddy Simon on another day. It is so nice for the boys to have some little friends that we can see and nice for me to have some mommy friends to play with too!

Here are some photos...

"I'll help you pack the bag to go out mommy"
(Carson has gotten really good at pulling up and tries to pull up on anything.)

Ground Beef

Hahahahahaha.... beef was not a hit.
(I have hope however, he now enjoys egg yolks and they produced a similar response)

Wil's new favourite game, "Baby Lion"
("Mommy, let's get all wrapped up and play baby lion together", then he takes off his socks so I can feel his sharp claws and roars at daddy to scare him and make him laugh.  It is really, really cute!)

Wil helping to do the dishes
(I think I will keep this photo and pull it out when he is a teenager to remind him that he used to like to help with the cleaning!)

Happy little man in my new favourite shirt!
(I found it on one of my "steal" websites, since it is the question most people ask, Carson can answer for himself!!)

Daddy was sick all weekend so Wil had some cuddle time with him to watch football and help him feel better.
(Wil is all sweaty because he just woke up from his nap and he coccoons himself under all his covers)

"Daddy, can I have some of your supper please?"

Stay warm!  Until next week.....

  1. I. Need. That. Shirt.

    or, ours could say:

    "I hate my crib."

We also very much enjoyed our play date and I am very much thankful to be able to talk about anything and everything with you. So much to cover and it's nice to have someone I can ask questions, vent, and be comfortable with.

Have a great week. See you soon!
