Clean teeth, haircuts and picnics!

Cool Dude getting clean teeth!

"see how shiny!"

Such a sweet little man!
(Wearing a sweater Auntie Anne made, Em you can tell her he looks super cute in it!)

 "Before"

"After"
(Love those big brown eyes!)

"After"

A second after because he was so cute and proud!

Testing to see what floats and what sinks!
(He actually asked to do this, I did no prompting... maybe a budding scientist!)

Winking

Having a picnic inside because it is too cold outside!

Some More Simple Pleasures!

Pictures of some more simple moments we have enjoyed this snowy week!

Discovering a new (and cleaner) way to get the leftover milk out of the cereal bowl

Beautiful
(I don't think I will be able to get pictures like this for very much longer)

Wil started his Sportball class
(his first sports class without mommy or daddy! Growing up too fast!)

Check out the air he is getting
(He is the one in the front of the line)
(I admit, there was a window above the gym and I watched for a while... just wasn't ready to totally go)

Monster "bumper" bowling in the kitchen

Playing soccer in the snow

A little road hockey

Daddy loves playing hockey with his little men

Nothing like a good sled ride

I love snowy Carson!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year Everyone!

Sorry for the delay in posting, we have had some illnesses going around our house and I just have not had the energy to do much.  Also, I have been having some issues trying to get pictures loaded up.

New Years bring new starts, new opportunities and fresh ideas.  I like resolutions, but hesitate to make them because they tend to always get shifted to the back burner and then forgotten about.  This year, instead of resolutions, I just have some thoughts on things I would like to do to enjoy life.

1. Try to do something active everyday.  Whether I get to the gym or not (which I have been doing on a regular basis, and loving it, thanks again Mom and Dad), I want to just keep moving.  Play with the kids, skate on the lake, play tag or chase, have a dance party in the basement, whatever... do something everyday.

2. Simplify life.  I want to declutter, organize, and downsize things to help gain perspective on what is truely important.  Life is so hectic, I want to be able to appreciate all that i have and not get caught up in stuff, and plans and keeping up with everyone else.  Just enjoy and live in the moment.

That is all.  Not a lot.

Here are some of the simple things we have been enjoying so far this year...

Wil's first "real" picture
(He drew his family, "with a sunny blue sky, the car and the garage")

Relaxing on the couch

A nice warm bubble bath!

Cuddly Froggies!

Movies in Mom and Dad's bed

Breakfast in the dining room
(just because)

The race car stroller at the mall

Noodle fingers

A good bowl of soup on a cold day
